Profile

HeFei Origin Quantum Computing Technology co., LTD. (shortened as "Origin Quantum") was established in HeFei High-Tech Development District On September 2017. It is Chinese leading enterprise of Quantum Computing and has developed subsidiaries in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and Shenzhen City. Taking the Key Laboratory of Quantum Information of the USTC and CAS as the technology base, Origin Quantum is devoted to the full-stack development of quantum computing. The technical indicators of Origin Quantum’s software and hardware products are domestically advanced and the company has more than 400 intellectual property achievements.

Mission

  • Origin Quantum adheres to the vision of "getting quantum computers beyond the lab and serving human society", and it also strives to explore the application of quantum computer and is committed to promoting the engineering and industrialization of quantum computing in China.
  • In September of 2020,Origin Quantum has released a domestic R&D superconducting quantum computing cloud. It marks a leap in transferring scientific research to engineering and further industrialization.

    Co-founder & Scientific Advisor

    Academician, professor and doctoral supervisor at the USTC. Director of the Key Laboratory of Quantum Information, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Prof. Guo is the Chief Expert of the directional project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the Chief Scientist of the project of “Quantum Communication and Quantum Information Technology” supported by the National Basic Research Program of China (also known as the “973” Program) under the Ministry of Science and Technology of China. Double employed Academicians of School of Physics, Peking University, Chinese Academy of Sciences - Peking University Ultrafast Optical Science and Laser Joint Center, South China Normal University.

  • Zhang Hui

    General Manager

    Ph.D. from University of Science and Technology of China. As the General Manager, he is in charge of strategic R&D, project planning and R&D management. He achieves a lot in quantum computing, quantum simulation and quantum processor. As one of the writers, he edits quantum computing introductory and programming textbook. With nearly 10 invention patents, he moves farther towards quantum computing engineering and R&D and high-tech enterprise management.
  • Wei-cheng Kong

    Chairman-in-office & Director of Quantum M&C Center

    A Ph.D. in Physics of the University of Science and Technology of China. He participated in major scientific research projects such as the Solid Quantum Chip Research of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, the Semiconductor Quantum Chip and the Coherent Control of Quantum Systems of the Strategic Leading Specialist B of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He also made important breakthroughs in the related research of the new nano-optical electromechanical system (NEMS), and he is the general manager of the "Multi-channel Feedback Measurement and Control System Based on FPGA Control" and "Quantum Chip Stereo Package" project of the Origin Q. Kong led the quantum controlling hardware team to develop a wide range of quantum measurement and control products, such as: Filters, Ultra-wideband Bias-Tee products and integrated active Bias-Tee couplers. And released the first quantum computer control system Origin Quantum AIO to achieve accurate measurement and control of large quantum chips in China.
  • Yong-jie Zhao

    Vice President & Director of Intellectual Property and Business Center

    A Ph.D. in Physics of the University of Science and Technology of China. He worked as a sales manager for the Asian market of the Nanoscience Division from Oxford Instruments, a multinational group of world-renowned scientific instruments, from May 2010 to May 2018. As the highest authorized representative of the Origin Q business activities, he has rich experience in multinational team management. At present, he has developed and implemented the company's corporate strategy, business development plan and other strategies to help achieve the company's business management and development goals. He also hopes to institutionalize and standardize the internal management of the company to promote the high quality construction of the company's corporate culture.
  • Zhi-long Jia

    Director of Quantum Processor Center

    A Ph.D. from University of Science and Technology of China. He has rich experience in micro-nano processing and is proficient in superconducting quantum chip micro-nano processing technology, and he has participated in the construction and maintenance of the quantum chip micro-nano processing platform of the Key Laboratory of Quantum Information of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He made great contributions in the construction of quantum cloud computing platform of Origin Q. Meanwhile, he is the leader of projects such as “The Development of Quantum Computing Chips”, “The Development of Quantum Analog Chips” and “The Development of New Quantum Functional Chips”, etc.Now he worked with his team and launched two kinds of quantum chips and developed many technologies of quantum chip package such as Multi-channel fully enclosed quantum chip package, multi-channel semi-closed quantum chip package, first-generation On-chip IMPA chip three-dimensional package.
  • Zhao-yun Chen

    Director of Quantum Software and Quantum Cloud Center

    Chen is a Ph.D. student at the University of Science and Technology of China, his main research is quantum language and quantum algorithms. In 2017, he pioneered the new quantum instruction set OriginIR (quantum composer notes) and led the team to develop the Origin Q computing cloud service platform (including 32-bit and 64-bit quantum virtual machines) for research institutes, and developed the quantum programming architecture QPanda(include the pyQPanda with Python) updated many versions. At the same time, OriginQ's 64-qubit simulation surpassed the bit analog numbers provided by IBM during the same period and disclosed the service.
